Iranians celebrate their New Year, "Nowruz", with special traditions. One of them is HAFT SIN table, "سفره هفت سین", say "SOFREYE HAFT SIN" which set for the Persian New Year and coming of Spring. the Haft-Sin also include seven symbolic items which remember the beauty, new life, sunrise. The Iranian New Year starts at the beginning of the Spring.
It is interesting to know the White House was set this table too.
